In honor of debut author Jacqueline Green's YA thriller TRUTH OR DARE's release this week, the awesome folks at Little Brown are letting me give away a copy to one lucky reader!
I know many of you are already excited about this one, but here's the details just in case:
The Book:
When a simple round of truth or dare spins out of control, three girls find it’s no longer a party game. It’s do or die.
It all started on a whim: the game was a way for Tenley Reed to reclaim her popularity, a chance for perfect Caitlin “Angel” Thomas to prove she’s more than her Harvard application. Loner Sydney Morgan wasn’t even there; she was hiding behind her camera like usual. But when all three start receiving mysterious dares long after the party has ended, they’re forced to play along—or risk exposing their darkest secrets.
How far will Tenley, Caitlin and Sydney go to keep the truth from surfacing? And who’s behind this twisted game?
Set against the backdrop of Echo Bay, an isolated beach town haunted by misfortune, Truth or Dare is a highly charged debut that will keep readers in suspense from beginning to end.

I ended up jumping up and down on the side of a busy road one day with a bucket on my head. Lol, I have no clue how that happened. :)
ReplyDeleteI chose Dare and had to down a bottle of ketchup. YUM
ReplyDeleteI had to drive around the corner screaming at people as they ran by the car. They thought I was a lunatic smh
ReplyDeleteI had to write a dude a love letter and then stand there and watch him read it.
ReplyDeleteTruth: I got suspended in the third grade for biting a kid on the shoulder.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't like truth or dare at all! I only remember one time when we went to the swimmingpool with my whole class. It was late at night, we were swimming outside, it had gotten really cold, everyone had blue lips and we were of the age where it was super exciting to dare people to kiss someone. So some guy had to kiss me and I was like noo I'm not really in the game, I'm just watching... Yeah that was kinda lame.
ReplyDeleteMe and my friends were playing truth or dare at school one day, and I was dared to wear my underwear on my head for 20 minutes during the lunch period. xD We were really young at the time, so it wasn't as embarrassing as it would be now. :P
ReplyDeleteDare go outside with out a flashlight have to find my way back to the house.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Jacqueline on the new release! I was very, very boring and never went to parties where they played this game. I feel very deprived now!
ReplyDeleteI don't really remember any good dares I had to do - mostly I was a wimp and just chose truth! I do remember being in a hot tub with my friend and we were dared to go outside and jump in the snow with our bathing suits on. So cold! Thanks for the giveaway - I can't wait to read this one! :)
ReplyDeleteDuring a truth-or-dare session in high school, we decided that we should all tell the truth. We had to find a way to be honest without dealing with the repercussions of our truth-telling, so we decided to write our truths down and seal them in envelopes. We read one another's truths with the caveat that we would never try to figure out the owner of each revelation. I actually really enjoyed that game. It was quite liberating ... in a safe way.
ReplyDeleteI really want it!! It seems to nice, and the cover is so beautiful *-*
