New Shelf Goodies & The Weekly Nutshell {97}

For New Shelf Goodies, I'll be showing you what lovely books I acquired this week, whether from publishers, or the library, or from whatever half-crazed book-buying binge I happened to go on. :D (Inspired by Tynga's Stacking the Shelves) The Weekly Nutshell will be just that...my week here at Stories & Sweeties, in a nutshell. (inspired by Ginger @ GReads and her recaps at the end of the TGIF posts)

Here's what I got this week:
For review:
YES. So excited for this one.
About Picasso's first love, a young costumer at the Moulin Rouge. Very intrigued!
These both look like cute MG titles!

Many thanks to Balzer & Bray, Harlequin Mira, and Bloomsbury for these!

I'm off tomorrow for another family vacation to an amusement park and a stayover in Monterey---one last outing before school starts again in a week and a half.  I finished Unwept this week, and all I can say is that I'm glad I have a week or so to process it before my review is due because it was weird. Still not sure how I felt about it. So I'm in that in-between stage right now where I'm not quite sure what to read next...taking a few books with me on vacation so we'll see if anything sticks! :D
Of course, one amazing exciting thing did happen this week, something I have been waiting and waiting for to hit the internet and finally....

YESSS it looks so amazing!! I'm a huge fan of this musical, of Sondheim, and many of the people in this movie, so I've been dying for a glimpse of it for SO LONG.  Many thanks to Ayanami @ Whatever You Can Still Betray for sharing this on Friday, along with a few other very cool movie trailers!

So that was my week!  Happy reading everyone! :D

  10. Ooh, The Fall!! I'm so terribly excited to read it. I can't get enough about Poe. :)

    I agree the trailer for Into the Woods looks good! I'm sad there was no singing, though. That's actually one musical I know very little about. Should probably change that before the movie. :)
