New Shelf Goodies & The Weekly Nutshell {64}

For New Shelf Goodies, I'll be showing you what lovely books I acquired this week, whether from publishers, or the library, or from whatever half-crazed book-buying binge I happened to go on. :D (Inspired by Tynga's Stacking the Shelves) The Weekly Nutshell will be just that...my week here at Stories & Sweeties, in a nutshell. (inspired by Ginger @ GReads and her recaps at the end of the TGIF posts)

 It's been a few weeks since I did a mail post so this crazy haul is for two weeks worth.  Also,  I went to a great trade show this past week in San Francisco.  I included some of my favorite finds from there!

The Weekly Nutshell
This week on the blog I showed off some new gorgeous covers in Cover Story.  I also confessed my undying anticipation of Katherine Longshore's upcoming Downton Abbey-esque book, Manor of Secrets on Waiting on Wednesday

This month is ending up to be so crazy---I know it's been slow around here, especially in the review department. Ugh. I have been busy reading and reviewing, but for a magazine, not for here.   Hoping to get back into the swing of things for the blog soon.   But this week we are off to the Disneyland Halloween Party (woohooo! I've always wanted to go!!).

Hope everyone has a great week! :D

  10. AH! So so many amazing books! As much as I'm dying for Cress, I am so curious about The Winner's Curse that it's probably my most anticipated book right now. :)

  11. OMG! Can I read your house and steal those lovelies? Pretty please. Even if we don't have any space, I will make a space for them. The Winner's Curse is definitely on my 2014 must read. In fact, I emailed the publisher to request for an ARC. And I kept checking EW if they will make the ARC available there. Alas, it's not there. Huhuhuh.

    Have fun reading.
