New Shelf Goodies & The Weekly Nutshell {16}

For New Shelf Goodies, I'll be showing you what lovely books I acquired this week, whether from publishers, or the library, or from whatever half-crazed book-buying binge I happened to go on. :D (Inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie's This Week in Books & Tynga's Stacking the Shelves) The Weekly Nutshell will be just that...my week here at Stories & Sweeties, in a nutshell. (inspired by Ginger @ GReads and her recaps at the end of the TGIF posts) Note: This is not a meme, but I'll be hopping around to any other book haul-sharing posts I come across!

This is two weeks worth of goodies, since I was away last weekend! (The concert was fantastic, btw...if you ever have the chance to see Mumford & Sons in concert, TAKE IT!! They are a amaaaazing live!) Got two boxes from Random House last week so get ready for a lengthy list---I'm really excited for some of these!

So that's it!! I've been slow on the reviewing this past week--hubby is home from work so he always wants to go out---cuts into my reading time! LOL--we're having a fun week, though :D That and the fact that the book I'm currently reading is nearly 600 pages long (Diviners---so good, though!) Hope everyone is having a great week!

    I've read and reviewed Touched, The Treachery of Beautiful Things and The Sweetest Spell and they're all quite good. I really want Under My Hat and Auracle! :) Enjoy!

    Wow so many great titles. I haven't heard of that anthology yet, but from the looks of it I bet it's great - so many great authors in one book. Enjoy!

    Kissing shakespeare has been on my tbr list for a while! I really really love the summary! I'm a little afraid to read it because some people said it was disappointing but the summary is just too good to pass up!

    Omgosh! So many cool new reads! I bought Under My Hat this week because I love witches!! I also bought Blood Magic even though I really wanted The Blood Keeper... I know it's not really a "series" but I gotta start at the beginning anyway! :P

    Holy crap, you got tons of great books this week! Please let me know what you think of DON'T YOU WISH. I'm almost done with THE TREACHERY OF BEAUTIFUL THINGS. It reminds me a bit of WICKED LOVELY.

    No, I don't think I'll be able to go to Midwinter in Seattle. The girls I normally room with aren't going, and I wouldn't be able to afford it on my own, lol. I will be going to ALA in Chicago. Will you be there? You better be! I miss your face!!!

    *sigh*

    My weeks just aren't the same without randomly running into you. :-P

    THESE ARE SUCH AMAZING BOOKS! The Treachery of Beautiful Things looks gorgeous. It's been on my TBR list for way too long now :) YOU HAVE A COPY OF AURACLE, I AM SO JEALOUS RIGHT NOW D: How is it possible you have so many fantastic books?! It's just not fair!
