Just a little haul this time around, but I'm not complaining---SUPER excited about both books that came through my mailbox this week!
For Review:
AHHH! Ultimate happy dance! This is one of my most highly anticipated reads of 2013! Ready to fall back into Wonderland!!
A modern retelling of Frankenstein! This one definitely sounds disturbing!
Huge thanks to Abrams Books and Strange Chemistry for these!
The Weekly Nutshell:
{Thursday} Beautiful Creatures Movie Trailer!!
{Friday} Review of Vessel by Sarah Beth Durst
As you can see, I've been taking it a bit slow on the blogging lately---its been a mixture of traveling, not feeling too hot health-wise, and my older kids driving me a bit batty (yes, they've pulled the cliche move of throwing a party while we were away for the weekend..ugh). I'll hopefully get back into the swing of posting a little more regularly soon. Bear with me, dears! :)
Happy reading!
OMG You got a copy of Splintered !! I'm soooo jealous of you right now Becky !! I can't wait to know what you think of it !! Happy reading :)
ReplyDeleteThey both look really great! Happy reading! <3

Splintered looks GORGEOUS! No idea what it is about, but will have to check it out now.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the older ones - tell them throwing a party over the weekend is so 1990s, it's not even vintage.
LOL, not vintage. Oh I love that. All I think of when I think of kids throwing parties while the parents are away is the movie Sixteen Candles with Molly Ringwald. :D
DeleteOh wow, you got a copy of Splintered! It's on netGalley but they won't let me have a copy :(
ReplyDeleteI hope it's as awesome as it sounds!
Enjoy!

A party?
ReplyDeleteOH NO!
How old is your kid?
Any serious damage or major calamity?
How was your trip?
Where'd ya go?
We went up to Oregon for the weekend. My two oldest are 17 and 18, and they were both in on it. Thank goodness no major damage and no one got hurt. Now we just have to put up with two very mopey, very GROUNDED kids. LOL
DeleteI have been seeing a lot about Splintered around the blogs today. I hope you enjoy it. My new book posts are at Ms. Martin Teaches Media and Inside of a Dog. Stop by if you get a chance. Happy reading!
