R.A.K.ing out this month!!

I'm RAKing this month! Isalys and Vanessa over at Book ♥ Soulmates have put together a fantastic feature called Random Acts of Kindness. I think its a brilliant idea and I'll be joining as often as I can! I've always been floored by the amazing generosity of the book blogging community and I think this is the perfect way to give a little of that back!

HarperTeen publishes book from InkPop

How cool is this news? HarperCollins announced this morning that they are publishing a book that was discovered on InkPop, the online community for teen writers. Huge congrats to new author, Leigh Fallon! Her book, Carrier of the Mark, will hit bookstore shelves Fall 2011!

Two Really COOL Trailers!! Halo and Perchance to Dream

For those of you out there who, like me, loved Eyes Like Stars and Perchance to Dream, I just found this awesome trailer on Lisa Mantchev's blog!! The pop-up book is just amazing, and it's so neat to see this prop from the story come to life!! Also, the pretty music in the video is by Kenneth Zink (which, if I'm not mistaken is the son of Prophecy of the Sister's author, Michelle Zink! What a talented family!). Take a look! It's pretty breathtaking!!
