New Shelf Goodies & The Weekly Nutshell {158}

For New Shelf Goodies, I'll be showing you what lovely books I acquired this week, whether from publishers, or the library, or from whatever half-crazed book-buying binge I happened to go on. :D (Inspired by Tynga's Stacking the Shelves) The Weekly Nutshell will be just that...my week here at Stories & Sweeties, in a nutshell. (inspired by Ginger @ GReads and her recaps at the end of the TGIF posts)

So..I got some things this week...
From trade:
O_O I could not be more excited!!!  Thank you, Jaime! ♥

 For review:
I love this series and I'm excited to see how it ends!
Can't wait for this...sound like a cool "Returned" type mystery
I haven't started this series, but I'm happy to have both in case I decide to read them!
I hadn't heard of this one, and I'm not sure it's my cuppa. But maybe!
This one was new to me, too, but sounds amazing actually! I'm hoping to really enjoy it!

And I was so excited to get this really cool Lady Midnight box! I love when publishers go the extra mile with the packaging and this one definitely went all out! Love it.

Thanks to Simon & Schuster, Jolly Fish Press, Skyscape, Bloomsbury, and Balzer+Bray for all of these!

The Weekly Nutshell:
{Tuesday} What's New: March YA Release List & Giveaway
{Wednesday} Waiting on Wednesday: Every Hidden Thing by Kenneth Oppel
{Wednesday} Red Blog Tour Review & Giveaway
{Thursday} The Crown's Game Blog Tour Review, Recipe, & Giveaway
{Friday} A Steep & Thorny Way Blog Tour Excerpt & Giveaway

Look at all the fun blog tours that happened this week! I had so much fun participating in all of these! Be sure to hop around to all and enter those giveaways! :D  We've had an onslaught of rain here, so you know what that means...perfect reading days!! Yay! This week I finished up Red (obviously lol), blew through Tell Me Three Things (I really enjoyed this one!), and I started Pull by Anne Riley and A Study in Charlotte, both of which I'm already completely drawn into at just a few chapters into each.  You know, I was fearing a major book hangover after The Crown's Game, but honestly, it's started a streak of awesome reads for me! :D

So since I already did a recipe this week, I'm going to save the chocolate banana muffins for next Sunday--want to make them one more time to be sure I have the recipe perfected, too (I know, twist my arm, right?).
I hope everyone is having a fabulous week and reading wonderful things! :D
