Here's what has landed on my doorstep recently:
For review:
The Beast is an Animal by Peternelle Van Arsdale
Sounds a bit like The Glass Casket, which I loved, so I'm excited!

I'm Not Your Manic Pixie Dream Girl by Gretchen McNeil
This one sounds a bit too straight-forward contemp for me. But cute!

This one is getting some good feedback---might have to give it a try!
From Trade:
Thanks to Michelle for the wonderful trade!! :D
Huge thanks to Simon & Schuster, Entangled Teen, Random House, and Harper Teen for the review copies!

recent posts:
What's New: October YA Release List & Giveaway
When the Moon Was Ours by Anna-Marie McLemore {blog tour}
Waiting on Wednesday: The Wood by Chelsea Bobulski
So it's been a slow-going couple of weeks here and in my day to day life. Health still a bit wobbly but I'm getting there. It's at least given me lots of reading time, but I am so ridiculously behind on writing my reviews. UGH. I hate being so far behind.
This week I finished off A Shadow Bright and Burning and I'll be reviewing that for the blog tour rolling through this week. I also started Yesternight and I'm loving it so far, but that's not surprising since it's Cat Winters writing about an idea I've always been fascinating by: past life memories in children. I'm not sure what's up next---I guess I'll just wait to see what I'm in the mood for when I finish Yesternight! I need a good spooky read for Halloween! What are you reading this week??
Happy reading, everyone!
