New Shelf Goodies & The Weekly Nutshell {24}

For New Shelf Goodies, I'll be showing you what lovely books I acquired this week, whether from publishers, or the library, or from whatever half-crazed book-buying binge I happened to go on. :D (Inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie's This Week in Books & Tynga's Stacking the Shelves) The Weekly Nutshell will be just that...my week here at Stories & Sweeties, in a nutshell. (inspired by Ginger @ GReads and her recaps at the end of the TGIF posts) Note: This is not a meme, but I'll be hopping around to any other book haul-sharing posts I come across!

I still need to read book 3, but daughter would revolt if I didn't buy this now. :)

For Review:
 So. freaking. EXCITED!

Any major fans of this series out there? I'd like to get them into the hands of someone who really loves Vampire Diaries!

The Big Splash & The Quick Fix by Jack D. Ferraiolo
I've never heard of this one before, but it looks like a cute series.  I may pass these on to one of my favorite middle grade reviewers. Looks like something he would love. :)

    Amazing shelf of goodies! I had to get Finale too! I really do hope that it lives up to our expectations - and I am holding off on it so I can re-read the entire sereis, just in case, lol!

    Great haul! Finale was awesome <3 I won the three books in TVD: The Return months ago but I haven't read the series before that yet >_< And I should really get Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

    Awesome haul! I cannot get over how gorgeous the cover of Days of Blood and Starlight is! And I'm excited to read it! I read Finale and it disappointed me a little. :P But I hope you enjoy it.

    You should be excited. YOU GOT DAYS OF BLOOD AND STARLIGHT. And I hear from most people that's really good news. (I'm not someone THAT enthused for it, but it's still exciting nonetheless.) Dude, ENJOY.

    Your daughter loves Hush, Hush? Is that what you are insinuating by mentioning her? That's... that's... SO CUTE. I love that your daughter likes to read the same books as you. My mom only reads gay erotica or GBLT YA. Oops. Maybe I shouldn't have admitted that for everyone to read xD
