Probably the best costume I ever had was when I was a baby and went as BatBaby. My older brother was Batman and my sister was BatGirl. Theme costumes! I must say, I was pretty dang adorable. =)

I actually haven't dressed up for halloween in a long time .. I used to do it when I was younger but as Halloween isn't big in France I haven't dressed up in like ten years. But as I'm in Ireland this year I'm planning to dress up as a witch, can't wait :). Thanks for the international giveaway Becky, that's sooo sweet !

I can't remember the best costume i dressed up in... My mom didnt take pictures of me on halloween like i do with my kids. :( I did see a picture of me dressed in a dr outfit which was cute but IDK that it was for halloween.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure it was the "best", but it was definitely a fun one -- I was the Queen of Hearts. It was, and still is, a beautiful costume! It was one I bought from The Disney Store. A friend actually borrowed it for a work party this year!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was 3 I wanted to be an ice cube! My dad took a cardboard box and cut out holes for my arms and head and spray painted it blue and wrapped it in saran wrap. I then wore a blue sweatsuit and blue make-up.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a kid, I dressed up like a "hobo." My mom cut patches the shapes of hearts and squares out of scraps of fabric and sewed them all over my jeans. I put black shoe polish on my face for a "beard" and had a black hat and carried a stick over my shoulder with a bandanna tied to it with some stuffing stuffed into it to look like I was carrying something in it. I loved that costume so much that I still have those jeans!! I want my 4 year old to wear them and she thinks I'm crazy ;)

ReplyDeleteWell my costumes have always been pretty lame, but one year 2 of my friends went as "The Hunger Games" One was covered in candy bars, and the other was covered in the title of board games. It was pretty funny...even though they had to explain their costume all night because no one got it right away xD
