Over at The Broke and the Bookish, they host this fun list meme called Top Ten Tuesday! Each week, they post a Top Ten subject for us, and we make our lists!
This weeks Top Ten list is:
The Top Ten authors I wish would write another book:
Here's my ten!
Anastasia Hopcus: Shadow Hills was an amazing debut. I check goodreads at least once a week to see if anything new has popped up!
Linda Buckley-Archer: author of the MG series, The Gideon Trilogy. Loved this one, would love to see her write a YA book!
Malinda Lo: Ash & Huntress were both amazing books and made Lo a favorite of mine. I know she has something in the works, but I can't wait!
Dianne Setterfield: Not YA, but I read her debut, The Thirteenth Tale, a few years ago, loved it, and she's had nothing since. Hopefully someday!
Rachel Hawkins: I know, the next in the Hex Hall series is coming soon, and I'm beyond excited, but also can't wait to see what she does next!
Marissa Meyer: Cinder just came out a few days ago, and already I'm dying for more from the author!
Jennifer Donnelly: Revolution was incredible. Really a stunning work.
Ransom Riggs: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children---an outstanding and unique tale. More! Need more!
Polly Shulman: I thought the Grimm Legacy was so overlooked! I loved this book and hardly saw it anywhere! I thought it was suppose to be a series, if so I can't wait for the next one!
Rosemary Clement-Moore: I still haven't read Splendor Falls, but Texas Gothic was one of my favorites last year, so I'm hoping this author has more for us soon!

I'm with you on Riggs! I wasn't thrilled with the way the book ended but I really enjoyed his writing style. Definitely want to read more of his books in the future.

Ransom Riggs is another person I'd add to my list if I could. I completely forgot! I haven't read Cinder yet but I'm sure I'll feel the same way as you when I finally get to it.

Magical Urban Fantasy Reads
Great list. I canNOT wait for the second Cinder book as well, and only read the first of Gideon, but quite enjoyed it. My only vote would be for Jane Austen.
