It's Follow Friday!

Q: In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer...let's talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?

A: I love fairy stories! Not to go for the obvious, but one of my favorites is Midsummer Night's Dream. Some recent favorites include Wings by Aprilynne Pike, Eyes Like Stars & Perchance to Dream by Lisa Mantchev, and definitely Ash by Malinda Lo.

    I loved ASH so much!!! Have you read HUNTRESS? It's set in the same world as ASH, but a few hundred years earlier. It was also very good!

    Have you read The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa? That one is really good!

    Hi, Becky! Thanks so much for stopping by -- I'm definitely following you back! Your blog is just too cute and I'm actually kind of craving cupcakes at the moment ;)

    I love faery/fairy stories too! Especially A Midsummer Night's Dream, although that may be because I'm a total Shakespeare fan! You should definitely read Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series because some of the characters from AMND (like Puck, Oberon, and Titania) are in it! :)

    But I picked up Wings and loved it, and Lisa's books are already added to my TBR pile!
